I made it!

Okay, the interview was pretty painless--for me anyway. Fred, the guy who interviewed me about Leave it to Claire really made me feel as though I was doing HIM the honor by letting him interview me. It was pretty overwhelming, but Fred was great and we prayed together before the interview. Afterwards, a woman called in and said she was about to get in the tub when she felt God tell her to go to the car and listen to the radio. She turned it on just in time to hear my interview. She's leaving an abusive marriage and I guess God gave her peace as I spoke about Claire learning the power of forgiveness toward her ex husband. She was the first caller and won a free copy of claire, some bath truffles and a compact. My publicist sent five gifts bags with those as give-aways. Anyway, I felt like I was in the right place at the right time. god is good.

Rest period almost over

Well, tomorrow my rest period after surgery is officially over. I have an in-studio live interview (can you say YIKES) with a local Chrristian radio station. Tuesday I get on the rewrite of I LOVE CLAIRE. My edits came back a few days ago and I'm ready to whip it into shape so my readers don't forsake me. You wouldn't do that anyway, would you? Pray for me tomorrow about 3pm central. okay? I'll let you know how it goes!

Another update

Hey everyone! It's been awhile, hasn't it? I'm starting to think I'm not very good at blogging. My return isn't working here, so we're not going to get any fresh paragraphs. Hope that's okay. So My deadline is met, surgery is completed and recovery going well (again, will update on surgery at a later date). I'm such a workaholic, it's been murder taking off while I recover, so I've been working on conference stuff. Next week it's back to writing and I can't wait!! This time has been good though. God is drawing my family closer, my marriage is stronger since my husband has been off work to help out and has been taking great care of me! I thought I'd get to read a bunch, but every time I pick up a book I fall asleep--and it really isn't the author's fault. Oh well, this no paragraphs thing is driving me nuts so I'll sign off. Don't you wishe the media would lighten up on Cheney. Sheeesh. Accident people!
